Gentle Yoga

Because of the exhaustion experienced during chemotherapy, I used a beginner’s program done by Rodney Yee called a. m. Yoga for Beginners.  It is a twenty minute gentle workout that energizes your body (as much as this is possible during chemo) by aiding in blood circulation, increases muscle flexibility, and focuses the mind (which can also be difficult with “chemo brain”).  There is also an excellent book called Easy Does It Yoga by The American Yoga Association/Alice Christensen.  It provides yoga programs that can be done in a chair or in a bed, if necessary.
